Ahmed Bin Mohammed: 2 December Marks A Defining Moment In The UAE’s Journey Of Leadershipand Excellence

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, said that 2 December will remain a defining moment in the UAE’s history. He said the occasion marks the birth of a country that chose a clear path to leadership and excellence, advancing confidently along it, guided by the values epitomised by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, and the Founding Fathers. Their belief in unity and collective effort, he said, embodied the highest values of dedication to building a nation grounded in security, dignity and prosperity.

His Highness said: “On the 54th Eid Al Etihad, we extend our warmest congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as well as to Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates.”

Sheikh Ahmed added that, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE has set out a clear vision for a more sustainable future, placing investment in people at the core of national development.

Onthe role played by the media in this remarkable development journey, His Highness said that Emirati media have long been the nation’s voice and a mirror to its achievements, steadily tracking every stage of the nation’s journey. He added that, in doing so, they have presented to the world a model of responsible, professional media rooted in transparency, credibility and the UAE’s message of tolerance and peace.

His Highness concluded: “On this day, we renew our pledge of loyalty to our leadership and reaffirm our commitment to working for the advancement of our nation, safeguarding its gains and honouring the legacy of the Founding Fathers in unity, cohesion and service.”
